Redifun Simulation Inc. (RSI) is based in Southlake, Texas, and has been incorporated for nine years. RSI is a small business specializing in Visual Systems for both commercial and military full flight simulators. RSI employs engineers with a diversified skill set that average over twenty years experiences each in the flight simulation field. Mechanical, electrical, software, database engineering, and program management, encompass RSI’s capabilities. Because of this diversified skill set and experience, RSI is able to provide a unique insight as to what is required to cost effectively update full flight simulator visual systems.
RSI manufactures PC based visual systems for the commercial flight-training environment. RSI was the first PC/IG manufacturer to receive Level “C” Certification by the FAA using raster light-points. RSI has delivered 44 Visual Systems in the past 6 years, achieving FAA level “C” certification on 12 full flight simulators offered for that level of certification. All are currently in service and training. Eight of the systems were upgrades to older visual systems.
RSI has integrated our PC/IG with a WIDE Collimated Display systems and have successfully tested the visual system against the FAA Level D regulatory guidelines. RSI’s RASTER visual systems have now been certified for Level D training by Transport Canada, the Civil Aviation Authority of China against AC120-40B, and by the JAA of Italy, Sweden, Norway and Denmark against the JAR STD 1A Amendment 3.
RSI was the first, and to date the only, visual system manufacturer to have a commercial off the shelf (COTS) PC-Image Generator, using raster only technology, be certified to a Level “C” and Level “D” standard. RSI also is the first visual system supplier to use commercial - off the shelf LCoS projectors for simulation and was the first to receive regulatory certification using commercial LCoS projectors.
Recently, RSI was the first visual system supplier to offer a "Front Projected" Collimated Optical system for Level D certification to the JAA. The visual system received Level D certification May 30, 2007.

Past customers include all the major airlines on most every type of fixed wing aircraft.
