Oxford Aviation Academy turned to RSI for updating their A320 FFS Visual System. RSI was selected on past performance and a unique technical solution. The Image IV IG with Pheobus calligraphic projectors was replaced with RASTER XT PC/IG and LCoS projectors. The original, AWARDS, glass optical system was retained. RSI provided a "Turn key" upgrade solution including Host computer, and IOS integration. The program progressed on schedule with simulator downtime held to only 10 days including CAA Level D certification.
